Missing my annual SPIEL trip. 2ooo km one-way driving from Riga to Essen (we spend almost the same time on the road as at SPIEL) - sounds stupid thing to do but became "adventure of the year" type of tradition for our small group. And reading your amazing reviews each evening to see which games we missed and need to catch next day is part of this tradition as well. Thanks for doing this for SPIEL.digital, makes it as close to the real thing as possible even more.

Well, a very different year, but I'm so glad that you are still doing a Spiel report. I'm looking forward to reading it even if there is nothing about games. Its part of a 20" year mid-October tradition. Thanks for help make this year a little closer to normal.

Sad to have an Oktober without all the people comming to Essen to visit SPIEL.

Really strange to not go this year, last time this happened for me was in 2005. I wonder what will be different in 2021, this if ever is an opportunity for changing things up. I wish for a whole hall of open play space. I have at least 5 friends who went once and never returned, citing this as the main reason.
